Don't you love the smiling little face on the Soothie? :) Bryton was my first to self-ween the bink, the other two kids had it taken away before they turned one. It's a lot easier to do it now, they don't argue about it. Wait until they're old enough to ask for it and then try to take it away, and you're probably going to have a struggle.
