Biggest Fish of my Life!

Michelle and Travis are proud to welcome the newest addition to the family:
Flipper "Cutthroat" Millet
5 lb 2 oz. and 25" long

...we expect him to be served in a light lemon-butter sauce

Benji: Dad, sometimes when you close your eyes, do you see bats?

Travis: Um, no. [pause] When you close your eyes and see bats are they good bats or bad bats?

Benji: [looking at Daddy like he is crazy pants] When I close my eyes I do not see bats!

Peter brought me a picture of airplanes he had just drawn and said "Mommy, next to where I wrote my name, could you write 'illustrator' for me?"

Me: "Um, I think you mean a flu shot."

Travis: "MMMmm. Why's it called sloopie?"
Peter: "Because when you drink it, your eyes go all sloopie."
